Inspired by early R&B legends of the '60s and '70s, Pearl, born October 8, 1974,  grew up singing along with her family band "Purple Silk Club & Band". She is  a singer-song writer, born in Detroit, MI. She has produced close to a hundred songs and enjoys performing covers such as Aretha Franklin’s “Chain of Fools” and Etta James’ “At Last” as well as other popular Artist like Jill Scott, Miki Howard, and Mary J. Blige.
Pearl found her passion in singing and song writing at the young age of eight when she began writing and performing songs for her family band P.S.C.B.  She and other family members her age would perform as background singers in backyard across the city of Detroit for parties and other celebrations, with her family band backing the up. She later went on to write songs such as “Sexy Boy”, “Marvelous”, “All For It” and a host of other songs. In 2008, she auditioned with her first band, Star Time with Paul “Baby Bluez” Johnson and Good Intentions for 2 years before becoming the lead singer of The Cash and Carry Band.  Later she moved to Houston TX and gained more experience performing with Level One Band. They performed at many venues such as the Rum Shack, and for other events around the Houston Area. In 2014 she returned to MN and  resumed the lead singing responsibility for The Cash and Carry Band.
She currently works with two bands No Limits the B-Side Band and The Maxx Band. She is always adding more music to her song list. She has sang at weddings, birthday parties, Home Goings and other events. Click here for a list of songs she can perform at your event.
